Prof. Dr. Florian Englmaier

Florian Englmaier is full Professor of Organizational Economics at LMU Munich. Since the fall of 2019 he is also Head of Department. He served as director of the Munich Graduate School of Economics (MGSE) from 2013–2019. Prior to his current appointment, he held chairs in Organizational Economics at the Universities of Konstanz and Würzburg, an assistant professor position at LMU Munich, a PostDoc Position at Harvard (joint appointment Economics Department and HBS), a PostDoc Position at University College London (ELSE) and spend terms as a visiting scholar at the Stanford GSB and the Kellogg School of Management. His research interests are in Organizational Economics, Industrial Organization, Contract Theory, Behavioral Economics, and Political Economics.
